Osteoporosis

It’s never too early (or too late) to get your bones in shape, too!

According to The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF), participating in regular weight-bearing activities is one of the recommended ways to help reduce the rate of bone loss and the effects of osteoporosis. In fact, using items like the ones from our collection is among the NOF many suggestions for osteoporosis prevention.

You can easily slip on our Power Vest and Wrist-Ankle weights for virtually any activity—while doing your regular exercises, walking the dog or even out shopping—and realize the bone-strengthening benefits. Our products’ thoughtful design makes it easy to add incremental weights at a pace that’s just-right for you.

We’ve also found that wearing our weighted vest may improve your balance and help prevent accidental falls. Unlike traditional weights, it leaves your hands free when you need to steady yourself. Be sure to add our Snudio Gripper Socks to add even more stability during workouts.

Please note: Before starting any exercise program, consult your physician first.

And remember, even with your doctor’s approval, always exercise in moderation, avoiding working out to the point of fatigue or pain.

Please note: Exercising and exercise equipment, depending on your physical condition, may be hazardous to your health. You are therefore advised not to use any equipment or attempt any exercises without consulting your doctor. Even with such approval exercise should be done in moderation and should not be performed if tired or to the point of fatigue or pain. Do not over- exert yourself.
