Insert the 0.22 lb (100 g) weights into the belt pockets so they sit flat and snug. Start with approximately 2% of your body weight — for a 150 lb (68 kg) person, that's about 3 lbs, or roughly 14 weights. Distribute them evenly across the belt front and back.
Increase by one weight (0.22 lb / 100 g) every 2–3 weeks as your body adapts. There's no rush — the goal is gradual, consistent progression, not maximum load from day one.

I put the belt on with 5lbs of weight and couldn\’t believe 2 things. I forgot I was wearing it really quickly. It\’s super comfortable.. I wear mine around my hips and it looks good too. . The second thing is that I couldn\’t believe the extra calories I burn…about 25% more when wearing the belt walking my dog. Great product.

I have the Power weighted vest but I like this belt for the hot summer days. It really gets my heart-rate up (so I am burning more) but I don’t get too hot. Today I put the belt on after being in the freezer. It’s kind of strange how much it keeps you feeling good having a cooling element around your hips!

I love this belt. First of all, it was easy to assemble. I literally just inserted the weights into each pockets then closed the flaps. I found that I liked the belt lower on my hips/waist so I used the velcro inside to make the belt bigger. The belt is very comfortable and I quickly forget that i am wearing it once I start walking. My doctor recommended a weighted vest for my osteopenia but the belt does the same thing without being hot or bulky. He’s now a fan of the weighted belt and is apparently recommending it to other patients!
