Start with the weight equivalent of 2% of your body weight — for a 150 lb person, that's about 3 lbs. Insert the weight bars flat side against your body, distribute them evenly front and back, and close the pocket covers.
Increase by 1% every 2 to 3 weeks as your body adapts. There's no rush. The vest works at every weight level — the goal is consistency, not intensity.
